The end of the semester is not a reason to postpone scientific work. Thus, the Rivne Medical Academy held an online roundtable discussion "Innovations and Scientific Discoveries: How They Shape the Future".

The event brought together students and teachers who spoke about the most important discoveries in medicine and natural sciences and their impact on modern practice.

During the roundtable, the students presented their research, in particular on the history of antibiotics, the discovery of streptomycin, the concepts of toxicological chemistry, biogeochemical functions of living matter, the work of antioxidants, assimilation mechanisms in nature, Illia Mechnikov's theory of immunity and the role of microorganisms in soil formation.

The discussion was lively and demonstrated a high level of interest in scientific topics.
