The creation of the department of chemical and pharmaceutical disciplines in January 2019 is a historical event of the MIHE "Rivne Medical Academy", which was preceded by no less important events in the history of the educational institution. The department of chemical and pharmaceutical disciplines has identified the key direction of its activity as the continuous improvement of the educational process with the maximum use of innovative technologies and a student-oriented approach to the educational process.
The Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Disciplines is graduating for students studying at specialty 226 "Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy". In addition, the teachers of the department carry out professional training of students in pharmaceutical and chemical disciplines, which are studied by students at specialties 227 "Physical therapy, occupational therapy", 224 "Technology of medical diagnosis and treatment" and 223 "Nursing".
The staff of the department actively cooperates with stakeholders. This is one of the components of the implementation of student-oriented learning, and the result of fruitful cooperation in educational and scientific areas with various structures and institutions. Thus, cooperation has been established with pharmaceutical establishments that carry out retail sales of medicines and medical products, including pharmacies that manufacture extemporaneous dosage forms. This is evidenced by cooperation agreements with "Rivnefarmatsia" and "Ukrfarm".
We productively and qualitatively implement into practice the Memorandum on cooperation and partnership between "Rivne Medical Academy" and the State Service for Medicines and Drug Control in the Rivne Region.
The variety of production practices among pharmaceutical students provides an opportunity to qualitatively and practically assimilate the material studied in classes in pharmaceutical botany and pharmacognosy. Students, together with teachers of the department, travel to the Carpathians, cultivate plants on the site of the Academy, and also study in the Kremenets Botanical Garden. Cooperation with the Kremenets Botanical Garden is also recorded in a corresponding contract.
The agreement on scientific cooperation between the Rivne Medical Academy and the Rivne Scientific-Research Expert Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is evidence of versatility in the areas of cooperation and communication, which is important for the training of highly professional specialists.
Not only students, but also teachers of the department of chemical and pharmaceutical disciplines, within the framework of cooperation with the above-mentioned institutions and organizations, undergo internships and carry out their scientific consulting.
