Linguistics is the art of communication

As part of the cooperation between the Rivne Medical Academy and International University of Economics and Humanities after Stepan Demianchuk, an online presentation of the monograph "Constants of Nonverbal Experience in English-language Artistic Discourse" was held. The author of the study is Professor of the Academy Oksana Melnychuk.

Students and teachers of both educational institutions joined the presentation. The work of our teacher is extremely interesting and useful for those who are interested in linguistics and the culture of communication. Ms. Oksana spoke about the key aspects of nonverbal communication in artistic texts, its role in creating the depth and authenticity of the artistic world, and also shared her own experience and challenges faced by language researchers.

The participants paid particular attention to discussing the importance of linguistics as the science of communication in the broadest sense of the word, as well as its role in shaping the cultural consciousness of modern society.
