Rivne Medical Academy Welcomes a New Generation of First-Year Students

A ceremonial student induction—a traditional event that annually brings together first-year students, their parents, teachers, and invited guests—took place at the Rivne Regional Philharmonic. This year, the Academy and the Professional Medical College welcomed over 600 first-year students; some of them gathered today in an intimate, cozy atmosphere where the formal ceremony blended seamlessly with a concert program.

Representatives of the institution's administration—specifically, Academy Rector Roman Shustyk and Professional Medical College Director Dmytro Lysytsia—took the stage to welcome the new additions to the medical community.

A particularly special and symbolic moment occurred when the first-year students dressed themselves in their white coats—a simple gesture that, for each of them, marked the beginning of a significant professional journey.

"I wish for you to be worthy children to your parents and to achieve success in your chosen field," the Academy Rector said, addressing the students. He also encouraged them to foster a unified student community together with the Academy’s separate structural units in Dubno, Kostopil, and Rokytne.

Years of acquiring knowledge and professional development, making new friends, and making important discoveries are ahead. We congratulate the first-year students on the start of this journey! May it lead each of them to a profession they can be proud of and to a vocation entrusted with people's lives!
