Barrier-freedom begins with respect

The Rivne Medical Academy joins the National barrier-freedom week, which is from May 19 to 25. This is not just a week of events - it is daily work to make the space around us more open, responsive and humane.

This is what was discussed during the interactive hour of communication, which was held for students by Svitlana Bukhalska, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, deputy director on educational work of the Professional Medical College of the Rivne Medical Academy.

Barrier-freedom is not only about architecture or technical solutions. It is about how we see each other. About the ability to support a person with temporary or permanent difficulties. About respect for veterans returning from war, for people with disabilities, for the elderly, for those who fight for their lives and dignity every day.

The Academy supports the values ​​of openness, inclusion, and understanding. We train specialists who will not only treat, but also listen, see, and empathize. Because true medicine begins with humanity.
