BEING ENVIRONMENTALLY AWARE IS NOT A FASHION, BUT A NECESSITY OF THE MODERN TIME

The Rivne Medical Academy actively promotes environmental education. In particular, a series of events were held within the educational platform “Formation and development of environmental literacy of participants in the educational Process”.

Information minutes for Environment Day were a great start for an environmental conversation. Participants of the discussion panel “Assessment of the ecological state of the territory of Ukraine in wartime” discussed painful but important issues: what real ecological footprint does military operations leave, which territories suffer the most, what long-term consequences may be for the life and health of the population.

The students presented their research through the projects “Consequences of technogenic pollution of ecosystems”, in which they highlighted the impact of industry, transport and military operations on the nature state in Ukraine.

The series of meetings will be completed by the environmental initiative "Walking together along local history trails", timed to coincide with the International day of biological diversity, which is celebrated on May 22. This event is designed to once again empha the beauty and uniqueness of our native land, the need to protect and explore it.
