Roundtable on World Information Day

Every year on November 26, many countries celebrate World Information Day. This day was established in 1994 by the United Nations, and the initiators of its creation were the participants of the International Forum on Informatization, which took place in 1992. It was this event that the roundtable was dedicated to, in which the second-year students of the “Nursing” department 9 (A) of the Professional Medical College of "Rivne Medical Academy" actively participated.

The co-organizers of the discussion platform were the teachers of the cyclic committee of "Mathematics and Physics", Serhii Viktorovych Matveiev and Nataliia Mykolaivna Lotushko.

Guests and active participants in the lively discussion were: deputy director on educational work of the Professional Medical College of "Rivne Medical Academy" Svitlana Yevhenivna Bukhalska, head of the educational and methodological department of "Rivne Medical Academy" Khmeliar Inessa Makarivna, psychologist of the Professional Medical College of "Rivne Medical Academy" Basiuk Larysa Mykhailivna, head of the educational and methodological laboratory Tokarchuk Halyna Oleksiivna.

During the round table, important issues were raised regarding the role and place of information, information resources, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in the life of society, problems of manipulation of consciousness through social networks, and the features of legal regulation of information security of the individual in Ukraine.
