Nursing is Not Only a Profession
It is about humanity, teamwork, support, and the strength to be there at the most crucial moments.
At Rivne Medical Academy, we know this for sure — 100%! That is why we celebrate together. On the eve of the International Nurses Day, the Academy gathered representatives of all structural units. The event “Medical Synergy” united students, academic staff, student self-government bodies, and students from medical colleges in Rivne, Dubno, Kostopil, and Rokytne.
Honored guests joined to congratulate the community of future healthcare professionals, including Serhii Podolin, First Deputy Head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration, Oleh Vivsiannyk, Director of the Department of Civil Protection and Health Care of the Regional Administration, and representatives of the medical directorate of Operational Command “West,” Dmytro Horban.
The program included motivational meetings with practicing nurses, presentations of student self-government, professional battles, medical competitions, and team challenges. Future medical workers demonstrated not only knowledge, but also quick thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills.
There were also sports competitions, where college teams showed their abilities, got to know each other better, and truly enjoyed communication. A real explosion of emotions, positivity, and a friendly atmosphere filled the event!
At the end, participants from colleges and the Academy enjoyed traditional Cossack kulish prepared by teachers and watched performances by young students of the school of combat Hopak.
A day full of drive, professional spirit, new acquaintances, sincerity, and another reminder that modern nursing is a strong, essential, and highly needed profession — and a united, supportive community!
