Methodological Association of Student Group Leaders, Educators, and Social and Psychological Service Workers

A meeting of the methodological association of student group leaders, social and psychological service workers, and dormitory teachers of the Professional Medical College and the Rivne Medical Academy was held. In total, 47 student group leaders participated. The meeting was held online.

The director of the Professional Medical College, Dmytro Lysytsia, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, and on behalf of the department heads, Sofiia Dundiuk-Berezina made a speech.

The deputy director of the college on educational work, Svitlana Bukhalska, gave a report to the participants entitled "A Safe Educational Environment as a Basic Condition for the Successful Socialization of Participants in the Educational Process." In particular, she revealed the essence of the concept of a "safe educational environment," which includes barrier-free, mental health, and inclusion, because today the Academy's students also include people with disabilities. They also focused on observing safety rules related to wartime and air raid sirens.

Also in her report, Svitlana Bukhalska focused on the issue of socialization of new students, which should take place under the influence of group leaders, teachers, the institution's management and, of course, parents. It is important to observe corporate ethics among the Academy's employees, to fulfill their official duties and to maintain a high level of communication.

They also talked about such a direction of work as patriotic education, which contains involving veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and active military personnel in communication hours with students in order to form a positive image of a veteran in the medical environment.

For the group teachers, they emphad the need to hold thematic classes, communication hours and events dedicated to the topics of anti-bullying, combating bad habits, reproductive health, hygiene and contraception.

Social educator Nadiia Melnychuk drew the attention of the leaders to the features of making a social passport, and also discussed the participation of young people in student self-government.
