International Right to Know Day
The 28th of September is International Right to Know Day.
Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights guarantees everyone the freedom to receive and impart information, and the practice of the European Court of Human Rights regarding the application of Article 10 of the Convention recognizes the right of everyone to seek/request information.
For the students of the Professional Medical College of the departments of “Medical business” and “Pharmacy”, the teacher of Fundamentals of Law S.Yu. Lukashchuk held information sessions and mini-training "Right to Life".
During the training, students "dressed a legal tree" in the leaves of associations of the concept of "law", passed the "Child's Rights" test, listened to a mini-lecture "The right to life is one of the fundamental human rights", and also performed the exercise "Heart Transplantation", which did not left no student indifferent. At the end of the training, the students developed an understanding that a person's right to life does not depend on their own views.
