Not only about medicine: learning to understand finances

As part of Global Money Week 2026, our first-year students, together with teacher Tamara DUZHYCH, participated in two informative and educational events dedicated to financial literacy.

The first was an excursion to the local history museum, where participants had the opportunity to learn more about the history of the national currency, its evolution and importance for the formation of the state. This allowed them to better understand the role of money not only as a means of payment, but also as an important element of cultural and historical heritage.

The second event was a meeting with a financial consultant in the format of an “honest conversation about money”. During an open dialogue, students received practical advice on managing their own finances, budget planning and forming financial responsibility.

Such initiatives are extremely important for young people, as they help to combine theoretical knowledge with real life skills and lay the foundation for a financially literate future.
