In memory of Holodomor victims
On the fourth Saturday of November, Ukraine honors the memory of the victims of the Holodomor of 1932–1933 and the mass artificial famines of 1921–1923 and 1946–1947.
On the eve of this event, the deputy director on educational work of the Professional Medical College of Rivne Medical Academy, Bukhalska S.Ye. and teachers Holobosh H.V. and Onyshchuk T.D. held a requiem event for students of the “Pharmacy” department, “A Candle Cried in Mourning”.
Memories and poems about Holodomor caused sadness, pain and sympathy for the eyewitnesses of these events.
Everyone was called upon to cherish the memory of the tragic pages of our country's history, to light a candle of remembrance on November 24 at 4:00 PM, and to honor the memory of the millions of lost lives in a National Minute of Silence.
