An event for World Heart Day

On September 27, 2024, an educational event was held for World Heart Day. The event was held with the aim of increasing the awareness of students and the population about heart diseases, popularizing a healthy lifestyle, etc.

As part of the World Heart Day, the Rivne Medical Academy Professional Medical College under the leadership of teachers Mariana Kaskiv and Anna Serheieva held an educational event for students of the institution "Let's take care of our hearts". Messages and informative reports were prepared by students: Artem Holovnych, Anhelina Kozlova, Olena Kashetska, Anastasiia Kalchuk, Kateryna Pukach, Viktoriia Korniichuk, Anastasiia Budko, Marharyta Yakymchuk.

  The event was attended by experts from the "Yuvileinyi" Primary Health Care Center of the Rivne City Council: doctor - therapist Liliia Ihorivna Krasko and head nurse Husnullina Iryna Rostyslavivna. Leading specialists reported on the risk factors of heart diseases, gave important advice on the prevention of these diseases, emphad compliance with the rules of a healthy lifestyle.

The event was attended by: deputy director of the Professional Medical College of "Rivne Medical Academy", candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Svitlana Bukhalska, head of the Department of Fundamental Disciplines Mialiuk Oksana Petrivna, teacher of Anatomy and Physiology Olena Klymchuk.

A wonderful addition to the event was a poster presentation by the graduates of specialty 224 "Technology of medical diagnosis and treatment" Anastasiia Anatoliivna Brushnevska and Kateryna Vadymivna Kruhlik, who characterized the laboratory markers of cardiovascular pathologies.
