Rivne Medical Academy has joined the global Lots of Socks initiative in support of people with Down syndrome
The 21st of March is a day when the whole world celebrates the uniqueness of each person and draws attention to the importance of equal opportunities, respect and acceptance.
On this day, students and teachers of the academy wore bright, multi-colored socks symbolizing the odd chromosome - it is the cause of Down syndrome. This simple gesture unites millions of people around the world and reminds us: we are all different, but equal.
Participation in such an action is a manifestation of support, a step towards creating an inclusive society where everyone has the right to be heard, accepted and happy.
Rivne Medical Academy once again proves that the medical community not only heals, but also inspires, spreading kindness, understanding and humanity.
