Following Cyril and Methodius

On May 11, Saints Cyril and Methodius, the founders of the Old Slavonic alphabet, are honored. On the eve of the holiday, the Professional medical college of the MIHE "Rivne Medical Academy" held an educational event "Following Cyril and Methodius", organized by foreign language teachers Liliia Kravchyk-Maidanovych and Mariia Tsymbala.

During the event, students were introduced to the biographies of Cyril and Methodius, told the story of the creation of the modern alphabet, and wrote names in Old Slavonic. They consolidated their knowledge with an interesting quiz. In addition, the students recalled famous poems about language, practiced continuing folk proverbs and sayings. They also created their own drawings on the theme "Language through my eyes".

Such events contribute to the development of creative thinking and encourage respect and love for the native language.
