On May 17, 2023, the students of the 1st year of the specialty "Nursing" of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, specialization "Nursing" (group teacher associate professor Liudmyla Borysivna Herasymenko) attended the performance of the Rivne Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater "Shadows of the Forgotten Ancestors" based on the story of Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi.

The students were impressed by the masterful acting of the actors, the stage performance of the director-production of the Honored Artist of Ukraine Ihor Borys, the scenography and costumes of the production designer Anna Pilyugina. Viewing such performances, which reveal the cultural-historical and national-spiritual achievements of the Ukrainian people, is an important component of the national education of students.

The study of traditions by young people contributes to the spiritual unity of generations, forms national consciousness, love for the native land, its people, instills a respectful attitude to the culture, customs, and traditions of Ukrainians.
