Easter in detail: traditions that are felt by the heart

At the Rivne Medical Academy, Easter is felt in a special way – through creativity, atmosphere and sincere emotions.

The second-year students of the "Hygienic Dentistry" department, group A(9) together with the group teacher Nadiia Melnychuk invited real experts of authentic Ukrainian art. Together with masters Maryna and Oksana from the art workshop "Kalyna" they mastered the traditional painting of Easter eggs with wax - one of the oldest Ukrainian techniques of creating Easter eggs. The teachers of our institution also joined the master class.

During the class, the participants learned about the symbolism of ornaments and colors, because each element on the Easter egg has its own meaning — from wishes for health to prosperity and protection. Students worked with pens and wax, learned to apply ornaments and step by step created their own unique works.

A real immersion into Ukrainian culture with lively communication, creativity and warmth unites, inspires and fills old traditions with new meanings. And each Easter egg became a small story - created by one's own hands.
