Famous personalities visiting the Rivne Medical Academy

MIHE “Rivne Medical Academy” is initiating meetings with outstanding personalities of our time.

The guest of the Academy was a true professional in security and defense issues, Yurii Prokofiev - Major General, Academician of the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Ukraine. He worked as the head of the Main Department of Military Education of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, headed the First Investigation Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and was the First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Yurii Mykhailovych told the students about the peculiarities of the work of the security structures of Ukraine, shared the stories of the formation of our state and its army, and spoke about key security principles in modern conditions. He also expressed his belief that today the Armed Forces of Ukraine are one of the most powerful armies in the world, which stands guard not only over our state and people, but also over the whole world.

At the end of the meeting, the Major General presented the Academy with Ihor Smeshko's book “The Unfinished dossier of the investigation general…” and promised to replenish the library with other publications next time.
