Celebrating the Day of the Ukrainian Cossacks, the Intercession of the Holy Virgin and the Day of Defenders of Ukraine
The first days of October at the Rivne Medical Academy were marked by a special atmosphere. On the occasion of the Day of the Ukrainian Cossacks, the Intercession of the Holy Virgin and the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, students and teachers united in a friendly festive atmosphere. During these hours, studies took a back seat, and our traditions and unity came to the fore.
Emotions were running high! Team competitions, contests, laughter and sports excitement made the holiday unforgettable. Anyone who has not seen students jumping in sacks, pulling ropes or enthusiastically guessing Ukrainian riddles has missed a lot! The youth proved that they know not only textbooks, but also Ukrainian songs, traditions and symbols.
Exhibitions became a special decoration. "Breath of Autumn" with students' works is a real celebration of colors and imagination, which our Ania Serheieva helped to create. A collection of embroidered clothes from our teacher Kaskiv Mariana is pride and respect for Ukrainian clothing, permeated with the spirit of freedom and love for one's own, native people. And a photo zone in the style of an old hut gathered dozens of smiling photos. And also - kulish in a cauldron, prepared by teachers of PE together with students. Its aroma gathered everyone around - because what is prepared together tastes the best.
We also joined a good cause together - we organized a fundraising, which we will transfer to one of our teachers, who joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the first days, and now needs rehabilitation after being injured. This is just a small part of our gratitude for protection, service and devotion!
We sincerely thank those who made this day possible and truly warm: social educator Nadiia Melnychuk, physical education teachers Serhii Prokaziuk, Serhii Nychyk, Ruslan Palamarchuk, our constant assistants Oleh Kochubei and Anatolii Tymoshchuk, the Zoria House of Culture for the costumes provided, the college director and head of the student trade union organization Dmytro Lysytsia, and deputy director Svitlana Bukhalska. Special thanks to the administration of the Academy, in particular vice-rector Ruslana Konoshchuk, for their support and inspiration. And, of course, many thanks to the student government — you once again showed that you know how to organize not just an event, but a real celebration of unity and joy!
