The World Week of Proper Use of Antibiotics

On November 21, the teachers of pharmaceutical disciplines: Honchar O. O., Marchuk O. P., Derhunova K. O. and Derhunov Yu. O. together with the students of the first-year of “Pharmacy” department, groups A and B (11) of the Professional Medical College of "Rivne Medical Academy" held an educational event entitled "What is important to know about antibiotics".

The students heard information about antibiotics, their types and classification, application, learned how harmful antibiotics are, and how to quickly recover after using them.

The presentation on the algorithm for obtaining antibiotics for a patient by e-prescription was interesting.

The purpose of our meeting was to raise awareness among pharmaceutical education students about the problem of resistance to antimicrobial drugs in order to prevent their further development and spread, and to promote their proper use and dispensing from pharmacies.
