Talking to teenagers about responsible decisions
As part of the #Medical_School project, Roman Skoreiko, a teacher of the Rivne Medical Academy, met with the pupils of the tenth grade of Rivne Lyceum № 11. The topic of the conversation was the culture of family planning in today's conditions - an issue that requires open dialogue and professional explanation.
The schoolchildren learned more about the peculiarities of female and male organisms, the formation of sexual maturity, and the importance of a responsible attitude to their own health. They also talked about preventing pregnancy at a young age and modern methods of contraception that can be effective for teenagers. They focused separately on pregnancy planning, physical and psychological readiness for parenthood and starting a family.
Such meetings help young people gain authentic knowledge, learn to responsibly treat their own health, and not be afraid to ask important questions.
