As part of the educational project #Medical_School, a teacher from the Rivne Medical Academy, Nataliia Perekhodko, held an informative lecture for students of Rivne Lyceum 25 on the topic “Plague: a pandemic that changed the course of history.”

During the meeting, the pupils learned how one of the most dangerous infections in the history of mankind influenced the development of society, medicine, and science. They talked about the causes of the spread of the plague, the course of epidemics in different historical periods, and how humanity learned to fight dangerous infectious diseases.

Such lectures help students not only better understand the history of medicine, but also realize the importance of scientific knowledge, prevention, and a responsible attitude to health.

After the lecture, teacher Oksana Dovhalets talked about the opportunities for studying at our institution and invited pupils to #Medical_Holidays.
