As part of the implementation of the educational project “Medical School,” a teacher of the Rivne Medical Academy, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Nataliia PEREKHODKO, gave an informative and lively lecture for students of Rivne Lyceum No. 8 on the topic “The history of alcohol: from a ritual drink to a social problem.”

Together with the students, they talked not only about facts, but also about meanings: how attitudes towards alcohol changed in different historical eras, what role it played in the rituals of different peoples, and how it gradually became part of complex social processes. It was a conversation that made you think and look at familiar things more deeply.

The warm and sincere atmosphere of the meeting was complemented by the career guidance part. The Academy's lecturers — Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Liudmyla ARTEMENKO and Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Oksana DOVHALETS — shared with the pupils the opportunities for learning, talked about student life and the prospects for professional development in the field of medicine.

Such meetings are not only about knowledge, but also about inspiration, choice, and the first steps towards your future profession!
