Medical vacation at the Rivne Medical Academy

Five days of knowledge, practice, and inspiration — that’s how the “Medical Vacation” for high school students at our institution passed. Every day opened up new facets of medicine and provided a valuable, unforgettable experience.

The introduction to medicine began through exciting practical and creative locations, where participants discovered different areas for themselves, including taking their first steps in understanding the profession of a pharmacist. Gradually, the immersion became deeper: through the study of the structure of the human body, the historical origins of medicine, and their first contact with surgery, an awareness of the importance and versatility of this field was formed. The most vivid emotions were given by the experience where theory was combined with practice — in the Simulation Center and during an introduction to physical rehabilitation, because it was here that confidence, excitement, and a sense of one’s own capabilities appeared. Dental knowledge and practice lit a fire in the hearts of students and gave them the encouragement to move forward, and the final activities, combined with movement, warm-ups and team competitions, created an atmosphere of unity, drive and inspiration that will remain with the participants for a long time.

“Medical Vacation” is more than an introduction to the profession. These are the first steps towards a future in medicine.
