The pre-Christmas period is an opportunity to remind everyone of good deeds and real support. This idea is promoted by the campaign “Become a Secret Santa for a Soldier”, which is organized not for the first time by Rivne volunteers.

On the eve of Christmas, volunteer Yuliia Yaremchuk traditionally goes to our defenders in Donbas and other parts of the front to give them a piece of the holiday, warmth and home comfort. They bring the necessary things: goodies, power banks, thermo cups, chemical heating pads, energy bars, dried fruits... The main difference of the campaign from the usual gatherings is that the gift packages are collected by the people themselves.

The Rivne Medical Academy, together with students and employees and the PO “MedCPD”, supported the initiative of the volunteers. Together, they purchased the most necessary medicines with which servicemen will be able to replenish their personal first-aid kits. They were chosen professionally, carefully selecting each drug to cover the needs that may arise as much as possible.

“We sincerely believe that even a small gift, collected with care, can warm the heart, give a smile and a sense of support,” commented this action, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the Academy Oksana Shtrimaitis.

That is why the staff of the Rivne Medical Academy with gratitude and love joined the collecting of Christmas packages for the soldiers who are defending our country today.

We thank everyone who did not stay away, joined the collecting, gave gifts or supported the initiative financially. Together we create a real holiday for our defenders - with warmth, light and faith.
