Participation in the event of social adaptation of war veterans and their family members

On October 18, 2024, MIHE “Rivne Medical Academy” had the honor of participating in the social adaptation event of war veterans and their family members "Rivne Unity". A friendly team of teachers and students created a location in the park of culture and recreation named after T.H. Shevchenko, where they had the opportunity to present an educational institution with an emphasis on physical therapy and occupational therapy. Teachers, together with students, future physical therapists, performed kinesiotaping on location and demonstrated electrical muscle stimulation to interested guests of the event. Also, the students were ready to provide professional recommendations on the use of means of transportation for people with disabilities. Special attention was paid to pharmacy students who, together with teacher Oleksandra Laba, formed a "formula of happiness" for everyone who came to the location. Dozens of happy eyes, many kind words and wishes addressed to the academy and a well-spent day in the circle of like-minded people - this is all the Rivne Medical Academy at “Rivne Unity”.
