We all complain about the deterioration of air quality, water, health, poor-quality products, the increase in the amount of garbage, deforestation...

Despite all the consequences of human activity, the majority of the inhabitants of our planet passively observe... In order to draw attention to the environmental problems facing us and to make the younger generation interested in the problems of environmental preservation, on August 3, 2025, scientific and pedagogical workers of the Rivne Medical Academy joined the interactive event "Eco-Step", organized by the "Reading Leaders" team. The event took place in the historical reconstruction park "Ostvytsia". The speakers of the event were: Dmytro Lysytsia, director of the Professional medical college of the Rivne Medical Academy, Yuliia Lysytsia, teacher of dental disciplines of the Professional medical college of the Rivne Medical Academy, Inessa Khmeliar, associate professor, candidate of pedagogical sciences, professor of the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical disciplines of the Rivne Medical Academy, and Lesia Kushnir, associate professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor of the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical disciplines of the Rivne Medical Academy, who presented the project "EARTH IS OUR COMMON HOME, Let's preserve the ENVIRONMENT for posterity". After all, chemicals are an integral part of modern life. Therefore, their impact on the environment and human health requires more attention. The use of safe technologies, improving regulation and raising environmental awareness is the key to sustainable development. This will help create conditions that will be beneficial for maintaining good human health.

We need to remember: “Man is only a part of nature, not its master.”
