Knowledge that saves lives
Knowledge that saves lives
As part of the Child Safety Week and Civil Defense Day, an educational master class “Knowledge that saves lives” was held at Rivne Lyceum N27, conducted by teachers of the Rivne Medical Academy, Olena Horska and Nataliia Povar.
9th grade pupils learned about basic first aid algorithms in an interactive learning format. Together, they practiced the algorithm for a safe approach to the victim, determining signs of consciousness and breathing, and practicing a stable lateral position.
Special attention was paid to debunking common myths about actions during a stroke, heart attack, and convulsions.
Such activities not only form practical skills, but also increase the general culture of safety among young people.
