Final meeting of the Academic Council: recognition of achievements, professional victories and new prospects for development.
On June 30, 2026, the next meeting of the Academic Council of the Rivne Medical Academy was held under the chairmanship of Vitalii UNDIR. At the beginning of the meeting, the following took place: the ceremonial presentation of the Certificate of Associate Professor of the Department of Medical and Preventive Disciplines and Laboratory Diagnostics to Pavlyna NEVHADOVSKA; awarding of diplomas and thanks for a significant personal contribution to the development of the institution, high professionalism, many years of conscientious work and significant achievements in the educational, scientific and educational activities of the Academy's employees, in particular:
A Certificate of Honor from the Rivne Regional Council to Dmytro LYSYTSIA, director of the Professional Medical College of the Rivne Medical Academy;
A Certificate of Honor from the Regional State Administration to Larysa KOROBKO, Dean of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Faculty of the Rivne Medical Academy;
scientific and pedagogical workers Oksana DOVHALETS, Mariana KASKIV, Vitalii KISHCHUK and Pavlyna NEVHADOVSKA with Honorary Certificates of the Department of Education and Science of the Rivne Regional State Administration; Certificate of Appreciation of the Public Organization "International Foundation of Scientists and Educators" to Inesa KHMELIAR and Lesia KUSHNIR. In accordance with the agenda, the members of the Academic Council considered a number of topical issues related to the completion of the 2025/2026 academic year and preparation for the new 2026/2027 academic year. The participants of the meeting conducted a thorough analysis of the results of educational, scientific and organizational activities, considered the status of the implementation of the Institution's Development Strategy, the results of the academic achievements of higher education applicants, the results of the examination session, the Unified State Qualification Exam, the licensing integrated exam "Step" and the objective structured clinical exam.
The members of the Academic Council paid special attention to the issues of ensuring and internal monitoring of the quality of education, improving educational programs in accordance with modern requirements and needs of the healthcare industry, overcoming educational losses, as well as the development of a student-centered educational environment.
During the meeting, the priority areas of the institution's activities for the next academic year were determined, including further digitalization of the educational process, development of simulation training, strengthening of the practical component of training future specialists, activation of international academic cooperation, expansion of scientific and research activities, introduction of innovative educational technologies and strengthening of partnerships with healthcare institutions and employers. First Vice-Rector Ruslana KONOSHCHUK emphad in her speech that our institution is confidently moving along the path of modernization and innovative development, and the results of the academic year demonstrated a high level of responsibility and professionalism of the scientific and pedagogical team, commitment to academic values and a desire for continuous improvement. Therefore, defined strategic guidelines were aimed at ensuring high quality education, integration into the European educational and scientific space, development of academic integrity and formation of a modern educational environment.
Separately, the issue of organizing the work of the Admissions Committee and ensuring the conduct of the 2026 admission campaign in accordance with the principles of transparency, openness and compliance with the requirements of current legislation was considered.
The Chairman of the Academic Council Vitalii UNDIR, at the end of the meeting, noted that the decisions adopted by the Academic Council are aimed at ensuring the sustainable innovative development of the institution, improving the quality of specialist training, strengthening its positions in the national and international educational and scientific space, as well as implementing the strategic mission of the institution - training highly qualified medical specialists for the healthcare system of Ukraine. The Rector of the Academy Roman SHUSTYK emphad that the professionalism of the team, the unity of the academic community and dedication to a common goal will be the key to further success and strengthening the authority of the institution in Ukraine and beyond.
