Rivne Medical Academy celebrated World Physical Therapist Day—a day honoring the professionals who help people regain mobility and independence, enabling them to return to a fulfilling life.

During the event, Academy Rector Roman Shustyk congratulated students and teachers, emphasizing the immense value of the physical therapist profession—especially today, amidst the war. It is a profession dedicated to recovery, support, and helping individuals return to an active life.

Special words of appreciation were also extended to the students who chose Rivne Medical Academy to pursue this vital career.

The most active students received letters of appreciation. Teachers were awarded certificates of honour from Rivne Medical Academy, the Rivne Regional Council, and the Department of Civil Protection and Public Health of the Rivne Regional State Administration.

It was particularly heartwarming that students from the Department of Physical Therapy prepared their own certificates of appreciation for Faculty Dean Larysa Korobko and Department Head Oleksii Markovych.

The celebration concluded with a creative activity. Students participated in the art therapy project "Four Years — One Story," where they collaborated, socialized, and left a piece of their group's identity on a shared canvas.

Physical therapy is a profession that helps people move forward again. Today, we extend our gratitude to those who have chosen this path and to those who teach it to others!
