The Rivne Medical Academy held an important educational event - a training and practical seminar "Stroke: diagnostic tests and scales in physical therapy for examining patients after stroke".

During the seminar, participants delved into the topic of neurorehabilitation, gained thorough knowledge about the features of clinical examination of stroke patients, and also practically got acquainted with the most common standardized scales and tests, including NIHSS, Modified Rankin Scale, Barthel Index, Rivermead Mobility Index, Berg Balance Scale, Fugl-Meyer Assessment and others.

The event consisted of several parts - a theoretical block, demonstration of examination techniques and practical work in small groups. The highlight was working with clinical cases - discussing real situations and finding optimal solutions in teamwork.

Such seminars are extremely valuable for future physical therapists, as they combine evidence-based practice with practical skills, forming a confident, competent professional.
