t is believed that the very first poems were written over 4,000 years ago.

In Ukraine, this holiday began to be celebrated in 2004.

Poetry is always unique, an immortal touch to the soul. It is the most important cultural phenomenon that conveys a person's inner desire for beauty.

On the occasion of this holiday, a meeting of first-year students was held with a doctor of the medical academy, poetess Klavdiia Kroka, who presented her collection of poems "The Thirst of Yellowed Leaves". The author read works about painful wounds inflicted by war, about the meaning of life and, of course, about love.

The librarian Karpenko Tamara presented a collection of poems by medical students "College Poetry". The students listened to the works of their peers with great attention and interest.

Poetry inspires us to create something new, expands our worldview, enriches our language, and inspires interesting endeavors.

The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere, enriching the participants with new impressions and feelings.
