The holiday of Ukrainian writing and language is celebrated on the day of commemoration of the reverend Nestor the Chronicler, an outstanding thinker, monk, and writer.

For the Ukrainian people, language has always been one of the most valuable treasures. In the conditions of numerous occupations by foreign invaders, preserving the language meant preserving the nation, preserving our Ukrainian identity.

On the eve of the Day of Ukrainian writing and language, the libraryof Rivne Medical Academy hosted a literary party "Language - the pearl of world wisdom", which was attended by students of the following departments: Pharmacy, Medicine and Nursing. In particular, Nataliia Korynets spoke about the spiritual meaning of the word, quoting from the Bible. Tamila Savanchuk, Sofiia Osiichuk, Nataliia Krasko, and Nataliia Bruiaka shared their thoughts on the meaning of words in human life, read poems by Ukrainian poets about their native language.

At the same time, all visitors to the library got acquainted with the literature presented "Our race begins with language". The proposed books reveal the history of the origin of the Ukrainian language, the difficult path of its development, all the greatness and beauty of the native word.
