It was on the 21st of March that the librarians of Rivne Medical Academy organized a meeting of students of the 2nd year of the "Nursing" and "Medical business" departments with the members of the poetry studio "POETARCH", which is headed by a member of the Writers' Union of Ukraine T.I. Horbukova.
Poetry is one of the wonders of this world that humanity possesses. A word full of wisdom, kindness and love lifts a person above gray everyday life and primitive thinking.
Creativity is an inner need of an artist. But when poems are written with a pen and heart, they find a response in the souls of other people.
Tetiana Horbukova and young poets Nazarii Ocheretovych, Iva Makarova, and Nadiia Sydorchuk recited their works on various themes, moods, and philosophical reflections. The guest of the event was the poet, doctor of the health center of Rivne Medical Academy Klavdiia Apolonivna Kroka, who read her poems from the collection "Thirst for yellowed leaves". Her work reflects life in all the diversity of the interweaving of joy, sadness, hope and love. Poetic lines evoked smiles, sadness, and empathy in the listeners’ souls.
Everyone present was enriched with new impressions, feelings, a new vision of the surrounding world. And this is the main meaning of poetry.
