On February 10–11, 2026, the VII All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “Modern Prospects for the Development of Dentistry through the Prism of Scientific Research of Young Scientists” was held at the Rivne Medical Academy.

For the seventh year our Academy has become a platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience and scientific discussions in the field of dentistry. This year, the event was co-organized by the PO “Association of Dentists of the Rivne Region” and the Silesian Academy (Katowice, Poland).

The event program lasted for two days and covered 20 hours of scientific marathon. It included more than 40 speakers from Kyiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi, Dubno, Rokytne, Radyvyliv and Rivne. These are leading scientists, practicing doctors, teachers of medical universities and young researchers-students.

The topics covered clinical cases, implantology, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, preventive programs, management in dentistry, pedagogy of medical universities, ethics and prevention of professional burnout.

The participants were welcomed by the Deputy Chairman of the Rivne Regional Council, Chairman of the Academic Council of the Rivne Medical Academy, Vitalii Undir, Director of the Department of Civil Protection and Public Health of the Rivne Regional State Administration, Oleh Vivsiannyk, Rector of the Silesian Academy, Alexander Ostenda, President of the PO "Association of Dentists of Ukraine" Iryna Mazur, Chief Non-Staff Specialist in the Direction of "Dentistry", "Pediatric Dentistry" of the Department of Civil Protection and Public Health of the Rivne Regional State Administration, Valentyna Sukhliak. The conference participants were welcomed by the rector of the Rivne Medical Academy, Roman Shustyk, and the first vice-rector of the Academy, Ruslana Konoshchuk.

More than 200 participants registered for the conference, including 120 practicing physicians: dentists, dental technicians, hygienists, dentists, as well as teachers of medical education institutions. It is nice that among the speakers and participants there are students of our Academy!

A collection of abstracts will be formed based on the results of the conference.
