Today, the VI All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern prospects for the development of dentistry through the prism of scientific research of young scientists” was opened, organized by the Higher Educational Institution “Rivne Medical Academy” of the Rivne Regional Council and “Association of Dentists of the Rivne Region”.

Mykola Kucheruk, First Deputy Chairman of the Rivne Regional Council, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

Candidate of Sciences in Public Administration, Director of the Department of Civil Protection and Public Health of the Rivne Regional State Administration Oleh Vivsiannyk emphad that the importance of events of this level for the development of Ukrainian medicine and young scientists in the Rivne region is difficult to underestimate. After all, high-quality medical care for the population is a priority for every doctor.

“Starting from 2020, the dental scientific and pedagogical community of the academy initiated the creation of a scientific event, the purpose of which is to unite scientists, teachers, and professionals of practical dentistry around the problems of dentistry. It is important that the format of the event allows you to involve education seekers, which creates additional opportunities for the formation of the scientific and professional potential of our state,” noted Doctor of Economics, Professor, Rector of the Higher Educational Institution “Rivne Medical Academy” Nataliia Mamontova.

The scientific conference at the Rivne Medical Academy is being held for the sixth year. And each time it increases the number of participants and expands the geography. This year it brought together over 200 specialists from Ukraine, Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and the Baltic countries.

The conference will last for two days and includes an intensive program based on the practical experience of dentists from Ukraine and abroad. Participants will have the opportunity to listen to 37 speakers, whose reports will touch topical issues of diagnostics, search for treatment methods and prevention of dental diseases, and the results will be recorded in materials that will be included in the electronic collection of conference abstracts.
