Oksana Shtrimaitis — Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor, Clinical Pharmacist, Clinical Research Professional, Psychologist, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the Rivne Medical Academy, Professor of the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Disciplines held a professional event on the topic “Clinical Aspects of Choosing Dosage Forms and Routes of Administration: Effective and Safe Therapy”.

Her thorough practical experience and interdisciplinary approach allowed us to comprehensively explore the topic and provide participants with valuable practical tools for their future professional activities.

The master class was attended by students from the Rivne Medical Academy, the National Pharmaceutical University, and Odessa National University after I.I.Mechnikov, Cherkasy Medical Academy, Odessa Regional Basic Medical Professional College, Zhytomyr Basic Pharmaceutical Professional College, Kirovohrad Medical Professional College named after Ye.Y. Mukhin.

For three hours they talked about the current issues of modern pharmacotherapy based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, the importance of cooperation with the patient and the role of pharmaceutical care in ensuring effective and safe treatment. Special attention was paid to the variety of dosage forms and routes of administration, the clinical aspects of their rational choice taking into account the individual characteristics of the patient, as well as issues of drug safety and monitoring of medicines.

We are sincerely glad to such broad interaction and active communication between students and specialists from different regions. Such meetings create a powerful platform for professional growth, exchange of experience and the formation of modern clinical thinking.
