Where did pharmacy come from and is this science limited to pills in a pharmacy? On the eve of the Day of the Pharmaceutical Worker, our first-year students lifted the curtain on these and other secrets of the science of medicines. They were helped by teachers of pharmaceutical disciplines Kateryna Derhunova, Vitalii Kishchuk and Oksana Maksymchuk.

The history of the emergence of pharmaceutical science from ancient times to the present, what our ancestors were treated with and how the pharmacy turned from a warehouse of medicines into their neighborhood - this is what the first-year students heard about during the introductory lecture “Pharmaceutical Education: The First Step to the Profession of the Future”.

Unforgettable journeys through the Carpathians, studying medicinal plants not only in theory but also in practice, getting to know the flora of different regions and its research - this is just the top of the iceberg that the leaders of the scientific and practical group "Student Phytoclub" open to students every year.

And this is just the beginning, just a small crack in the big world of pharmacy, to which teachers hospitably invite students.
