Ticks are small, but the danger from them is quite real

Teachers of the Rivne Medical Academy Vita Sternik and Olena Klymchuk organized an open lecture class for students with the participation of entomologist of the Rivne Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention Ruslana Drab.

During the meeting, they talked about the types of ticks, the dangers they pose, methods of protection and the algorithm of actions after a bite. Students learned how to recognize risks in time and why prevention is really important.
