The International Day Against Domestic Violence aims to draw attention to the problem of domestic violence, promote the promotion of preventive measures and the development of the legal protection system.

The holiday was established in 1981 by the United Nations in order to empha the criminality and inadmissibility of family violence, as well as to support the victims.

On October 2, an educational event on the topic: "Family - without violence" was held at the Professional Medical College, with the aim of effectively educate medical students about the inadmissibility of family violence, by S.Yu. Lukashchuk, the teacher of Psychology and Law. and the invited guests, the leading psychologists of the "Day Center of Social and Psychological Assistance" of the Rivne regional council Olena Lobashova and Iryna Voloshyna.

In a confidential conversation with the students, they talked about the types of violence and how to recognize them. The students, in order to consolidate the information, they heard, were asked to consider situational tasks, which they coped with perfectly.
