Our graduates had a unique opportunity to talk with the assistant of the Department of Ophthalmology of the O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University, vice-president of the Society of Optometrists of Ukraine, ophthalmologist Ivan Shkribliak, who presented the educational and professional program "Optometry", new for the Ukrainian education system.

The meeting was extremely informative and topical. The speaker spoke in detail about the conditions for admission to the program; prospects for professional development; opportunities for obtaining a professional qualification - optometrist.

Optometry is a modern field that combines medical knowledge and practical skills in the field of vision correction. It includes the diagnosis of refractive errors, the selection of glasses and contact lenses, as well as the prevention of visual dysfunctions. The optometrist profession is extremely in demand, and the implementation of this program in Ukraine opens up new horizons for young specialists.
