Performing intravenous injections is a responsible manipulation that requires strict adherence to the algorithm, knowledge of anatomical landmarks, rules of asepsis and antiseptics, as well as confidence in movements.

An open lesson on this topic was conducted by teacher Vita Holovchenko. The second-year students of the “Nursing” department, group A(9) practiced the technique of preparing for an injection, the algorithm for applying a tourniquet, choosing a vein, the correct angle of needle insertion, and the rules for disposing of used materials. Particular attention was paid to communication with the patient and compliance with professional standards.

The practical format of the lesson allows future medical workers to master the theory, form accuracy, responsibility, and confidence in their own actions.
