This ambitious goal was voiced today during a visit to Rivne Medical Academy by the Deputy Chairman of the Rivne Regional Council, Vitalii Undir. After all, the Rivne region needs doctors, and our educational institution can provide qualified personnel.

Together with the rector of the Academy, Natalia Mamontova, the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council got acquainted with the work of the Academy's Simulation Center and discussed plans for its enlargement. In particular, they inspected the premises of the former Medical and Social Expert Committee, which were recently transferred to the educational institution. Currently, renovation work is underway here, and later classrooms will be equipped for practical practice of pre-medical, first medical and specialized medical care skills.

“We must equip our simulation center at a high level so that not only students can study here, but also current doctors can improve their qualifications and take courses for those who wish. Today we are working to expand the material base of this unit. The Rivne Medical Academy can and should train doctors for the entire Rivne region and not only,” Vitalii Undir emphad.

Nataliia Mamontova noted that the Academy is currently studying the experience of leading medical higher educational institutions in this matter in particular. Relevant and modern educational materials are also being developed so that our students and graduates receive the most up-to-date knowledge and skills.

In addition, Vitalii Undir talked with students of the Academy’s Professional Medical College and got acquainted with the state of the shelter in the building. He also emphad that the Academy cannot slow down on the path to change, but rather move in the frantic rhythm of modernity.
