Thematic lecture "Methods of treatment in minimally invasive cardiac surgery"
On February 14, 2024, a thematic lecture for nurses entitled: "Methods of treatment in minimally invasive cardiac surgery" was held. The 11th of February is celebrated as the World Day of the Sick. The number one place in the world is occupied by diseases of the cardiovascular system, most of which are related to hemodynamic and blood supply disorders. A significant number of such diseases in adults is acquired pathology of blood vessels and valves of the heart and aorta. Congenital heart defects predominate among newborns. An increasingly important role in the treatment of such diseases is played by minimally invasive endovascular treatment methods, which allow to achieve excellent results without open surgical interventions, which significantly shortens the recovery period, radically reduces traumatization during operations, reduces the number of complications and accelerates the rehabilitation process of patients. The lecture is designed to introduce the basic methods and principles of minimally invasive surgical interventions on the heart and blood vessels.
