The Academy held a methodological meeting
A methodological meeting of clinical disciplines teachers was held at the Rivne Medical Academy. This time, the focus of the discussion was on the real challenges of modern medical education and the search for practical solutions in working with students.
The event was opened by the Director of the Professional Medical College, Dmytro Lysytsia. Then the teachers moved on to the substantive part - a series of speeches that covered the key problems of the educational process.
They spoke frankly and objectively. In particular, about the causes of pedagogical losses - from personnel and motivational to methodological aspects. Special attention was paid to the decrease in student motivation in clinical disciplines and how this affects the quality of training of future doctors.
The speeches also addressed more specific problems: overload of teachers, which leads to professional burnout, and insufficient practical training of students. These factors directly affect the learning outcome and the readiness of graduates for real work in medicine.
A separate block was devoted to the conditions of mixed and distance learning. Teachers shared their experience of how the educational process is changing and what tools help maintain its effectiveness even with limited opportunities.
It is important that the discussion was not limited to problems. Specific approaches to solving them were also voiced: from strengthening the practical component to updating teaching methods and better interaction between theory and clinical practice.
The meeting was concluded by summing up and agreeing on further steps. Such methodological associations are not a formality, but a working tool that allows teachers to quickly respond to changes in education and improve the training of future specialists.
