OPEN MEETING OF THE CYCLIC COMMITTEE OF PHARMACEUTICAL DISCIPLINES
On December 18, 2025, an open meeting of the cyclic committee of pharmaceutical disciplines of the MIHE "Rivne Medical Academy" was held on the topic: "Practical-oriented training as a key factor in the training of competitive pharmaceutical workers".
The purpose of the meeting is to summarize the results of the organization and quality of the educational process for the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, as well as to determine priority areas for improving the practical component of the training of applicants for the specialty "Pharmacy".
During the meeting, the results of complex tests and the level of student success for the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year were analyzed, typical difficulties in mastering some topics and practical skills were identified, and ways to improve the quality of material learning and the formation of professional competencies were outlined.
A separate block of work was devoted to the reporting of teachers on:
- the state of educational and methodological support of educational components;
- filling and updating of materials on the MOODLE platform, in particular test tasks, methodological recommendations, presentations, video materials and instructions for practical work;
- implementation of working curricula and programs in accordance with the approved schedule of the educational process;
- the results of teachers’ training during 2025, the introduction of modern pedagogical approaches and digital tools in teaching.
An important component of the meeting was the discussion of practice-oriented measures aimed at strengthening the relationship between training and future professional activities. In particular, special attention was paid to the results of meetings with employers for students of the graduating groups of the Pharmacy department. Such meetings contribute to a better understanding of the requirements of the modern pharmaceutical market, the formation of professional motivation of students, as well as the establishment of partnership in practical training and further employment.
According to the results of the meeting, key areas of further work of the cyclical commission were identified: improving the methodological support of disciplines, systematic updating of the MOODLE platform, strengthening the practical component of training and continuing active cooperation with employers as an important factor in the training of a competitive specialist in the pharmaceutical industry.
