Celebrating Europe Day in Ukraine
On the occasion of Europe Day, Rivne Medical Academy embarked on a true journey across countries — through language, culture, music, and exciting discoveries.
Students of the “Dentistry” department, together with teacher Maryna Zubilevych, prepared a virtual tour of the most famous places in Europe in English. Lake Como in Italy, Cologne Cathedral in Germany, the Eiffel Tower in France, the Van Gogh Museum in the Netherlands, Park Güell in Barcelona, and the Château de Chambord — each location revealed new stories and the unique atmosphere of European countries.
For Europe Day and the Eurovision Song Contest, teachers of cyclic committee of foreign languages Olha Ryshchuk and Anna Shkola organized a thematic event, where participants explored traditions of different nations, took part in quizzes and creative tasks, and recalled the most memorable Eurovision moments. The atmosphere of music, unity, and positivity once again reminded everyone that culture truly brings people together across the world.
In addition, for the second-year students of the “General Medicine” department (group V 9), Anna Netepchuk held a discussion dedicated to Europe Day, while teacher Halyna Husar, together with students, explored interesting facts about European countries, their traditions, flags, and even learned basic phrases in different languages. The meeting concluded with a thematic quiz on knowledge of Europe.
Europe is not only about borders on a map. It is about values, culture, mutual understanding, and openness to the world.
