On September 26, the teacher of Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology Redko S.V. conducted an hour of communication with the group of the 1st year of "Orthopedic Dentistry" (9), dedicated to the World Contraception Day, which is celebrated annually on September 26 since 2006.
World Contraception Day is a long-term campaign aimed at all women and men of reproductive age. Its goal is to reduce the high level of unplanned pregnancies, and the main motto is: "Contraception: It's Your Life, it's your responsibility".
Currently, there is a great need to expand knowledge on contraception among young people aged 15-25. It is important to provide them with the necessary information at this age, because their sexual and reproductive behavior can leave an imprint on their entire future life. And it is also necessary to attract more attention of the authorities and the public to the problems that arise as a result of insufficient sexual education of young people and contempt for contraceptives. The initiators of the Day believe in the principle that every pregnancy should be desirable.
