This was the title of the event at Rivne Medical Academy on March 24, 2021 on the Zoom platform remotely. Information messages in the form of presentations were prepared and conducted by teachers of the subject-oriented cyclic subject committee of general therapeutic profile Huz N.F. and Karpovych N.V. for students and colleagues.

The event was held before the World Tuberculosis Day. And it is extremely important, because the incidence among the adult population of Ukraine is growing, and among children has decreased by 34.7%. Rivne region has an average incidence in Ukraine of 36.4% of tuberculosis, while the leader in morbidity is Odessa region - 91.8%. Ukraine has an average of 42.2%.

Teachers and health professionals need to be fully aware of the situation on etiological, epidemiological, clinical signs, diagnostic methods, not to be indifferent and widely promote prevention of a dangerous chronic disease - tuberculosis.
