On February 27, 2026, the next meeting of the Pedagogical Council of the Professional Medical College of the MIHE "Rivne Medical Academy" was held. The meeting was opened by the Rector of the Academy, Roman SHUSTYK, who focused the attention of those present on the formation of a positive image of the educational institution. The priority tasks of the development of the MIHE "Rivne Medical Academy" are to improve the quality of education of students through innovative technologies, professional development of scientific and pedagogical and teaching staff, create a safe educational environment, ensure inclusiveness, and effective management, which ultimately form a positive image of the educational institution. As Roman Petrovych noted, a powerful tool in the transformation of a medical institution is rebranding - a strategy for changing the brand; therefore, updating the identity, one that would motivate all participants in the educational process and meet modern requirements, is relevant today. Several options for the institution's emblem were submitted for consideration by the team, the final version of which was approved by teachers by open voting. The director of the college, Dmytro LYSYTSIA, analyzed the essence and key aspects of organizing a student's individual educational trajectory. The first vice-rector, Ruslana KONOSHCHUK, and the head of the educational and methodological department, Inessa KHMELIAR, drew the attention of the teaching staff present to the pedagogical conditions for improving scientific and methodological work at the college. The vice-rector for scientific work, Oksana SHTRIMAITIS, emphad the importance of scientific and research work by applicants for professional pre-higher education, and involving students in scientific and educational and cognitive circles. Olha OSTAPCHUK reported on the state of career guidance work and the level of employment of graduates. One of the key issues of the meeting of the pedagogical council was the generalization of work experience, the effectiveness of pedagogical activity, and the improvement of professional qualifications of teaching staff in the inter-certification period. The pedagogical council also analyzed modern approaches to organizing educational work, which were reported by the deputy director of the college, Svitlana BUKHALSKA.
